Carter High Students and Families, 

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, we are excited to continue building on the momentum and successes of the past year. At Carter High School, we maintain high expectations for all students because we believe every Lion is capable of achieving excellence. Through rigorous academics, meaningful extracurricular opportunities, and a supportive school culture, we are committed to helping students reach their full potential.

Preparing students to be college and career ready remains at the heart of our work. Our responsibility extends beyond graduation as we strive to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to succeed in higher education, the workforce, military service, and any path they choose after high school. By challenging students to think critically, communicate effectively, and persevere through obstacles, we are preparing them for success in an ever-changing world.

As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to fostering strong partnerships with our families and community members. Together, we will continue to create an environment where students feel supported, engaged, and empowered to pursue their goals. Through collaboration, high expectations, and a shared commitment to student success, we will ensure that every Lion has the opportunity to thrive.

Estudiantes y Familias de Carter High School:

Al comenzar el ciclo escolar 2026–2027, nos entusiasma continuar construyendo sobre el impulso y los logros alcanzados durante el año pasado. En Carter High School, mantenemos altas expectativas para todos nuestros estudiantes porque creemos que cada León tiene la capacidad de alcanzar la excelencia. A través de un programa académico riguroso, oportunidades significativas en actividades extracurriculares y una cultura escolar de apoyo, estamos comprometidos a ayudar a cada estudiante a desarrollar su máximo potencial.

Preparar a nuestros estudiantes para que estén listos para la universidad y una carrera profesional continúa siendo el eje central de nuestro trabajo. Nuestra responsabilidad va más allá de la graduación, ya que buscamos brindarles los conocimientos, las habilidades y las experiencias necesarias para tener éxito en la educación superior, el mundo laboral, el servicio militar o cualquier camino que decidan seguir después de la preparatoria. Al desafiar a nuestros estudiantes a pensar de manera crítica, comunicarse de forma efectiva y perseverar ante los desafíos, los estamos preparando para triunfar en un mundo en constante cambio.

Al mirar hacia el futuro, seguimos comprometidos con el fortalecimiento de las relaciones de colaboración con nuestras familias y la comunidad.
